Predict the World Cup Like a Genius!

Every World Cup match, computers help guess who wins, where the ball will land, and even if a player is offside. In this course, YOU learn to think like that computer, one football game at a time. 9 short lessons, each with its own colour and its own game, then a real certificate with your name on it.

Never done maths like this before?
Perfect. That's exactly who this is for.

You don't need to be good at maths yet. You don't need to know anything about computers. If you know what football is, and you can count, you are ready. Every lesson starts with a simple football question, then shows you the fun way computers answer it.

๐Ÿ“Š

Find the average of a set of numbers, like a computer would.

๐Ÿ“

Draw a guessing line and use it to predict a number.

๐Ÿš€

Predict exactly where a kicked ball will land, using real physics.

๐Ÿงฒ

Sort things into groups, the same way a computer does.

๐ŸŽฏ

Turn "will we win?" into a real percentage.

๐Ÿšฉ

Judge offside like the AI referee at the real World Cup.

๐ŸŒณ

Ask smart yes/no questions to pick the right formation.

๐Ÿ”ฎ

Predict real World Cup 2026 matches, and see how you do.

Every lesson has its own colour.

Start at Lesson 1 and work down the list. Each one is short, has one big idea, and ends with a game. Your favourite colour might just be your favourite lesson!

โšฝ Why football?

Because you already understand it! You already know a strong team can still lose, that home matches feel different, and that some players are better at scoring than defending. Every idea in this course is just a way of writing that knowledge down in numbers, so a computer can use it too.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘ง For grown-ups

This course covers statistics, linear regression, projectile motion, clustering, logistic regression, and decision trees, all through play. Nothing is timed or graded. Lesson 8 asks for a first name only (a grown-up's email is optional, never required) to submit World Cup picks. Lesson 9's certificate needs a first name too, and it stays on the page, nothing is saved or sent anywhere.
