Introduction to Machine Learning
Logistic Regression & Decision Trees. Enter your name exactly how you want it printed and your email so your certificate is registered with The Genius Project, then download or print it.
🔏 Your name, email, and quiz score are saved with The Genius Project so your certificate is on record.
Tip: screenshot this or keep the PDF, then bring it to the next Genius Project session.
Part 3: predict the quarterfinals
The World Cup 2026 quarterfinals are underway. France have already beaten Morocco to reach the semis, so three quarterfinals are left to call, plus who lifts the trophy. Use logistic regression, a decision tree, your own gut, or all three. You do not have to fill in every one, just the calls you actually believe.

For at least one match, think like Lesson 2 or 3: what is the ranking gap, the recent form, the home factor? Would logistic regression give a high win probability? Which way would a decision tree branch? Then tell us which model you leaned on. That is exactly what a real analyst writes up.
Predictions locked in.
