Adrian leads The Genius Project's vision and strategy. He founded the organisation in 2023 to close the gap between Caribbean youth and the AI economy.
He is also the founder of StarApple AI, Jamaica's first AI company, and serves as President of the Jamaica Technology and Digital Alliance. IBM selected him as an AI domain expert and mentor. EY named him Entrepreneur of the Year Jamaica 2024 (Start-Up). CEO Monthly recognised him as the Caribbean's Top AI Innovator in 2025. He sits on Jamaica's National AI Task Force and is a Forbes Technology Council member.
At The Genius Project, Adrian drives partnerships, programme direction, and the organisation's expansion across the Caribbean.
Dr Budall leads curriculum design and learning strategy at The Genius Project. She ensures every programme is grounded in how people actually learn, not just what gets delivered.
She holds a PhD and brings over 30 years in education, training, and learning science. She spent 22 years at UWI as a teaching assistant and assistant lecturer, and currently heads training innovation at TrainLytics. Her earlier work as a Scientific Officer at the Tropical Medicine Research Institute at UWI Hospital gives her a rare scientific depth that shapes how The Genius Project builds for neurodiverse and underserved learners.

Nicholas leads personal and professional development for youth coming through The Genius Project. He prepares students not just to build with AI but to carry themselves in the rooms where decisions get made.
He is CEO of SportsBrain and Director of Business at StarApple Analytics. His career spans senior business analyst roles at NCB, Nestlé (Anglo-Dutch Caribbean), and Sagicor, giving him a grounded understanding of what Jamaican and Caribbean employers actually look for in young talent.
Akila coordinates youth engagement, community building, and day-to-day student experience at The Genius Project. She is the person who makes sure every young person who walks through the door knows they belong.
She is Operations Manager at StarApple AI. Her background spans hospitality management (Jamaica and Wisconsin), social media community building, creative production, and brand storytelling, bringing operational and human-centred skills that keep The Genius Project running smoothly while keeping the culture alive.
