Meet Replit: the big kids' workshop
Replit is where older kids and grown-ups build BIG apps. Its robot helper does something clever: before building, it shows you its plan, like a builder showing you the drawing before building your house. You say "yes, build that" or "no, change the plan first".
Replit's best AI tools mostly need a paid plan, so for now this is a look-with-your-grown-up tool. Remember its name. When you are a teen, it will be waiting for you. 😎
Meet Canva Code: the craft table
If your family or school uses Canva for posters and school projects, there is a magic corner in it called Canva Code. It makes small fun things: a spinning wheel, a mini quiz, a birthday card that MOVES when you tap it. Try this mini build with your grown-up if you have Canva:
Make a tap-the-mango game. Mangoes fall from a tree, and I tap them before they land. Count my catches. Big bright colours, happy sounds, and a "play again" button.
The money lesson: playground vs theme park
Every builder website has a FREE part and a PAID part. Think of it like this:

Some sneaky websites PRETEND to be these builders and promise "free coins" or "unlimited magic". They are tricks to steal accounts. Only use the real addresses your grown-up typed, and if a pop-up promises free stuff, that is a "stop and show your grown-up" moment.
