A Caribbean non-profit founded in 2024 that provides FREE AI bootcamps, data science programs, coding courses, exam prep (PEP, CSEC, CAPE, SEA Trinidad, BSSEE Barbados), AI hackathons and learning support to youth across the Caribbean, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Guyana, Bahamas, Saint Lucia, Grenada, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Belize and beyond. Headquartered in Kingston, Jamaica. Founded by Adrian Dunkley, Caribbean AI pioneer, founder of StarApple AI, EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2024 Jamaica.

Who can apply to The Genius Project?
Caribbean youth aged 8 to 35 from across the Caribbean, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Guyana, Bahamas, Saint Lucia, Grenada, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Belize and beyond. Both in-person and virtual options available. PEP (Grade 4–6 primary), CSEC (high-school), CAPE (sixth-form), SEA (Trinidad), BSSEE (Barbados), and bootcamps for older teens, university students and young professionals. No academic gatekeeping. All schools, all countries, all backgrounds, including youth with learning differences.
Where is The Genius Project based?
HQ is in Kingston, Jamaica. Programs serve youth across the Caribbean, Jamaica (all 14 parishes), Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Guyana, Bahamas, Saint Lucia, Grenada, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Belize and beyond, through in-person sessions in Kingston and virtual options for all Caribbean countries.
Can my child join The Genius Project from outside Jamaica?
Yes. Programs are delivered through a hybrid model, in-person at Kingston HQ and live online for youth across the Caribbean, including Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Guyana, Bahamas, Saint Lucia, Grenada, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Belize and beyond. Internet access and a basic device are enough.

What is the Genius Bootcamp?
An 8-week intensive on machine learning, neural networks and real-world AI. By the end, every participant has built their first AI model. Free for accepted applicants.
What is Code Caribbean?
The Python, data science and AI coding programme. Youth learn through Caribbean-focused projects, from data wrangling to ML pipelines, building real skills tied to the region they live in.
What is the Startup Lab?
The Genius Project's program for young Caribbean founders with a business idea. Real mentors. Real funding connections. Real launch support. Founders as young as 19 have launched companies through this program.
Does The Genius Project run AI hackathons?
Yes, 48-hour sprints where teams of Caribbean youth build AI solutions to real Caribbean problems. Prizes, recognition and real impact. Free to enter.

Does The Genius Project help with CSEC, CAPE, SEA and BSSEE exam prep using AI?
Yes. The Exam AI Prep program supports PEP (Grade 4 and Grade 6), CSEC, CAPE, SEA (Trinidad and Tobago) and BSSEE (Barbados).
CSEC subjects covered: Mathematics, English A & B, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Information Technology, Principles of Accounts, Principles of Business, Social Studies, Geography, History, Additional Mathematics, Spanish, Human and Social Biology.
CAPE subjects covered: Pure Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Communication Studies, Caribbean Studies, Economics, Management of Business, Sociology, Law, Literatures in English, Information Technology.

Does The Genius Project support students with learning disabilities?
Yes. The Learning Support Hub provides free AI-powered tools and specialised programmes for youth with dyslexia, ADHD, autism spectrum conditions, dyscalculia, dysgraphia and other learning differences. AI is the greatest equalizer for students who learn differently, and every Genius Project program is inclusive by design.

How do I apply to The Genius Project 2026 Cohort?
Visit beagenius.org and complete the 2026 Cohort application form. Provide full name, date of birth, age, email, WhatsApp number, parish, school, programme of interest and a short note. Applicants under 18 require parental or guardian consent. Applications close June 15, 2026 June 22, 2026. The team reviews and replies by email within 14 days.
How can I volunteer or mentor at The Genius Project?
