If you do not understand something after reading your textbook, paste it into an AI and say: "Explain this to me like I am 14 and have never heard of it before." Then ask follow-up questions until it clicks. The AI never gets frustrated.
Tell the AI your subject, topic, and exam level and ask it to generate 20 practice questions. Answer them yourself before you peek. Then paste your answers back and ask for marking and feedback. This is the single most powerful thing on this page: the act of recalling an answer under your own steam, the testing effect, builds far stronger memory than re-reading notes ever will. Re-reading feels easier precisely because it is doing less. Spread these sessions across several days rather than cramming them into one, since spacing the practice out is what makes it stick for exam day. Repeat on your weak areas.

Then study the structure before drilling the details. Time yourself. Submit. Request marking. Use AI to think about your own thinking, too. After a practice set, ask it to show you which kinds of question you keep getting wrong and why. That habit of self-monitoring, of noticing the exact gap in your understanding, is what lets you study the right thing instead of the comfortable thing. And when AI explains a concept, treat it as a scaffold: lean on the worked example the first time, then redo the problem with the help removed, until you can stand on your own.
One more, and it matters most when the work feels hard. A low mark is information, not a verdict. The student who says "I have not got this yet" and asks AI to break the topic down again will overtake the one who decides they are "just not a maths person." Effort and good strategy are what move grades, and that is the mindset this whole programme is built to train.
