Money is something you can be smart about, and even predict! In this course you learn what money is, how to save it, how to make a plan for it, and how computers guess what happens next. Then, with a grown-up, you use AI to forecast a real JPS light bill. Seven short lessons, each with its own colour and its own game, then a real certificate with your name on it.
Your place is saved on this device, so you can stop and come back anytime.
You don't need to earn money yet, and you don't need to be good at maths. If you have ever bought a patty, saved up for a toy, or been given lunch money, you already know enough to start. Every lesson uses things you already understand, then shows you the clever way computers think about them.
Know the difference between a need and a want.
Make a simple budget and set a saving goal.
Spot a pattern and use it to guess what comes next.
Find an average and a trend, like a real forecaster.
Ask AI helpers smart money questions, safely, with a grown-up.
Predict a real JPS light bill and help your family save power.
Start at Lesson 1 and work down the list. Each one is short, has one big idea, and ends with a game. The last lesson is homework you do with a grown-up.
What money is, where it comes from, and the big difference between a need and a want.
Split your lunch money into spend, save, and share, then watch a saving goal grow.
What a prediction is, and how spotting a pattern lets you (and a computer) guess what comes next.
Squish a week of spending into one number, then spot whether it is going up or down.
Meet ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. Learn safe money questions to ask them together.
Type in your last six JPS bills and let three little AI methods forecast the next one.
Ten questions to prove what you learned. Finish them to unlock your certificate!
Because knowing about money helps you your whole life. Kids who learn to save, to tell a need from a want, and to make a simple plan grow into grown-ups who worry about money a whole lot less. And the light-bill homework helps your real family, right now, in a heatwave.
This course teaches financial literacy (needs versus wants, budgeting, saving) and a gentle first look at prediction (averages, trends, and AI), all through play. Nothing is timed or graded. Lesson 5 encourages using AI chatbots together, with copy-and-paste prompts made for a parent and child. Lesson 6 is a light-bill forecasting activity: it asks for a first name and an email so your child's prediction can be sent to you, and it includes energy-saving tips for the heatwave. Please do this lesson alongside your child.
